Week 2 - Project Al Gore

When shopping this week at Barnes & Noble, they had this reusable shopping bag for $1.49. It is much nicer looking than all of my other bags. I decided to purchase it for mall shopping. I believe they claimed that it could hold up to 50 pounds. I wonder if I put two 25 pound bags of sugar in it and carried it around how long the bag would really last. My back would probably give out before the bag however. Total plastic bags saved this week - 31. In addition to the usual shopping places like Harmon's & Wal-mart, I also used my bags at Claire's, Fanzz, and American Eagle. I have already surpassed my goal of 50. My total count since December 1 is 53 plastic shopping bags saved. Go me!
